Good design starts with trust — trust that your designer has heard you, understood you, and has the experience and relationships to execute what you’ve both agreed on. At TCLee Design, building that trust is not a process step. It’s the whole practice.
Tina Lee founded TCLee Design after nearly two decades in architecture and design. Her early career at The Steinberg Group — now Steinberg Hart — gave her an unusually broad understanding of how design and construction work from the inside. Eight years at a boutique Menlo Park design firm followed, where the focus sharpened to residential practice. TCLee Design launched ten years ago and has operated by referral ever since.
Tina's greatest strength is her ability to read people — to articulate back an aesthetic direction a client couldn't quite put into words themselves. Her design sensibility favors clean lines, timeless material choices, and spaces that feel cohesive rather than curated. The relationships built over eighteen years — with architects, contractors, and Bay Area showrooms — mean clients move through the process with less friction than they might expect.

Whether it’s a blank canvas or building from clients’ existing spaces, Deborah brings a creative and personal approach to interior finishes. She has an extraordinary ability to reimagine and blend old and new elements for a cohesive and effortless design. Often taking inspiration from client’s own favorites she creates textured palettes that reflect homeowners personal tastes but with an elevated design sensibility.
Her goal for every project is to incorporate key elements of design, color and spatial planning. As Senior Designer, Deborah provides input throughout the design process from finish selection through furnishings and installation. This may include tile, lighting or wall finishes, but she brings particular expertise in soft furnishings and styling — a detail-driven discipline that completes any well-designed space.
